For those of you who are new to the Rantings family, let me give you a bit of background...

I started this blog in 2008, and after faithfully posting daily (well, most days) from August 2008 to March 2009, I stopped. Life began speeding up, and unfortunately, blogging was what had to be dropped. I've missed doing this so much, so I decided to start again, right back with my odd, snarky, witty commentary on this craziness we call life. So, starting up under the same name with the same blog and the same URL, I'm happy to say that Rantings is back!
